Vacancies

Website Manager

Hours per week: 2-8 (2 days per week)
Level 2/3 (£12.50 - £25.00 / hour, dependent on experience)

You'll be responsible for maintaining a range of websites, liaising directly with clients and escalating issues to other team members as appropriate. This role requires good communication skills and a solid grasp of HTML and CSS. System administration (Linux and Apache) and experience with object-oriented PHP would be beneficial, but are not required.

Working hours are flexible, but must be spread across the week to meet our agreed SLAs – In practice this can be achieved by working two days per week. Your hours will depend on the work requested by clients, but you'll paid for a minimum of 2 hours per week. You must be registered (or prepared to register as) self-employed and maintain your own accounts – Our financial team will provide guidance with this if required.

Required: HTML, CSS
Desirable: Object Oriented PHP, Apache2 Server Administration

Web Developer (PHP)

Hours per week: 0-16 (flexible)
Level 3 (£25.00 / hour)

You'll be working on a range of exciting projects, including bespoke development and developing our off-the-shelf solutions.

Most development takes place on top of our own technology stack, iota, but we also work with Wordpress and other open source systems. Experience with javascript and event-based GUI, or multi-process/concurrent programming would be desirable.

Working hours are flexible, and we can schedule work around your availability. You must be registered (or prepared to register as) self-employed and maintain your own accounts – Our financial team will provide guidance with this if required.

Required: Object Oriented PHP, HTML, CSS
Desirable: Javascript, Apache2 Server Administration, experience with SCRUM project management
